Monica Kwok Elected Co-Chair of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association’s Corporate Transactions Committee


The National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) has elected Monica Kwok as Co-Chair of its Corporate Transactions Committee. NAPABA is the preeminent voice for Asian American legal professionals in North America, and is dedicated to promoting justice, equality, and professional advancement for Asian Americans within the legal community.

Monica Kwok is an associate in Goodwin’s Private Equity group, and a member of the firm’s Search Funds and Food and Healthy Living practices.

Monica represents traditional private equity sponsors with respect to leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and other corporate transactions.

Monica also has significant experience representing search fund clients in all phases of the search fund lifecycle, including fund formation, fundraising, acquisitions, ongoing operations, and beyond. She also partners with investors, entrepreneurs and executives on strategic and milestone transactions.

Monica is an active member of the Harvard Alumni Association, the Penn Alumni Association, and the Phillips Academy Andover community. She is a mentor and advisor to students through the Harvard Law Entrepreneurship Program.

Monica is involved in various community organizations, including the Artist Council at the Addison Gallery of American Art and the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Campaign for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
